It’s not long to our big day, so we thought we’d add a few Q&As to the website to help you.
What time does it all start?
If you are a day guest, then the wedding kicks off at 3.30pm. But if you turn up early, Greg has a cracking 30 minute playlist for you all from 3pm.
For evening guests, please arrive from 8pm.
How do I get there?
Travel information can be found on this page
For those of us who are coming to our last supper on Thursday night, the number 1 bus leaves at 16.02, 16.12, 16.24, 16.34 and 16.44 from the stop between Arnos Vale and the Arnos Manor Hotel. The journey takes approx 35 mins to Whiteladies Road, but allow extra time as there’s lots of road works.
What’s to eat and drink?
During the day we’ve got canapes, pie and mash – Bath Gem beer and some great wines.
During the evening there is a buffet and a pay bar.
Is there a cash machine nearby and does the bar take cards?
The cafe/bar usually takes cards but on Sunday they could only take cash. Be prepared and bring cash on the evening. The nearest cash points are on Chatsworth Road or in the Shell garage (behind Burger King) – both are approx 5 mins walk away.
What should I wear?
Just wear something that you feel fabulous in!
Shall I bring anything along?
If you can bring a carved pumpkin that would be great. We can provide candles (and you’re welcome to take them home afterwards for Halloween).
We’ve got lots of confetti for day guests, but if you are bringing some along, please make sure it’s biodegradable.
Please don’t bring your own alcohol along! It wakes the dead!
Do you have a wedding list?
No, seeing your beautiful faces is more than enough. However we do have an adventure fund through travel agents Trailfinders. If you’d like to add to the pot the details are:

Surname: Patfield
Wishlist number: 5BGHSW
What time does it finish?
The venue needs to close by 11pm – but if we have the energy we’ll go across the road to the Bocabar!
Doing anything Saturday?
We have booked the Port of Call, just off the top of Whiteladies Road, from 6pm on Saturday night for beers and pub grub. Kids welcome until 8.45pm.
